The Rose- Dawn To Dusk World Tour Vip Experience

Last October I went to go see The Rose at The Armory in Minneapolis, MN. I had VIP tickets which allowed early access to see soundcheck and a Q&A with the band. The soundcheck and Q&A went very good besides the late entry because the venue had the times messed up. The concert its self was very exciting as the band has extremely good stage presence. The lead singer Woosung, is very captivating with the way he plays guitar but also in the way he uses hand motions in different parts of the songs. This video is a great example of his stage presence. They were preforming their song Yes featuring James Reid.

The concert was very energetic with members of the band running around on stage but also the crowd singing along with the band. The visuals showed really went well with the songs and captured the mood a vibes of the songs preformed. Like the all red visuals for their song Red. Their opening song Eclipse set the mood with the blue lightning visuals and the lights it definitely made the crowd hype and energetic. The bands setlist was filled with their biggest hits like Sorry, Back To Me, and many more. The song that I personally was looking forward to was Beauty And The Beast. I think it is one of their best tracks. They had a great mix of hype songs and sentimental songs. A sentimental song they sang was Definition Of Ugly, which is about feeling like an outsider and never really fitting in. The lead singer has said that it reminds him of the Ugly Duckling. The setlist not only had songs from their new album but songs from their first album. I think the really showed how much they grew as a band since they debuted in 2017. They also did a great job showcasing their talents as a whole. Especially their Guitar and main singer Dojoon, because he not only sings and plays guitar, he also plays the piano and he really showed all of his talent and how much he has grown since 2017. He also showed how stable his vocals were during the final song Wonder because he was running around stage waving a band flag while still singing his parts. I have personally been a fan of The Rose since 2017 when they were still a k-pop rock group so seeing how much they have progressed musically and how far they have come now under their lead singers company, was so sureal and unforgettable. If you are a fan of indie rock you should definitely see The Rose.
